Introduction
The National Center for Research (NCR) used to organize a biennial scientific conferences discussing many issues, as per its mandate, related to development. Since 1993, the NCRmanaged to organize 10 scientific conferences on different research disciplines which received national, regional and international participation with distinguished scientific outcomes aimed at economic growth and the welfare of societies. Sudan is considered as one of the rich countries in medicinal and aromatic plants owing to its unique environmental diversity, availability of rich traditional knowledge and distinguished scientific research, which enables it to domesticate the herbal drug industry and support the national economy. Therefore, NCR has dedicated its 11th international conference to explore the natural wealth of the medicinal plant, to encourage and support investment and to set a future research agenda on medicinal plants studies in Sudan.

Adherence to the generally accepted terms and regulations adopted in scientific research

Research paper has not been previously published or presented on conferences
Submitted research will be subjected to scientific arbitration by the Scientific Committee
Participants should send paper abstracts accompanied by brief C.V
The abstract should be maximum of (300) words
Following abstract acceptance, full paper should be submittedin Arabic or English
The research should be e-mailed in Microsoft Word Document format
Arabic research papers should be submitted infont type (Traditional Arabic), Size (14)
English research papers should be submitted in font type (Times New Roman), size (14)
Research paper should not exceed 10 pages including figures, tables and appendices
References should be written in Harvard style
Conference languages are Arabic or English

Papers will be published in a special issue of “Albuhuth Journal” in the website of National Center for Research according to terms and conditions of the journal (optional)
