On July 19, the National Center For Research, Medicinal and Aromatics and Traditional Medicine Research Institute is hosting a workshop about preprints and open science.

Preprints are a tool for open science and are increasingly used for science communication across different disciplines. The workshop will provide an introduction to preprints and how they relate to the journal publication process. Attendees will learn about the benefits of preprints for researchers and things to bear in mind when posting a preprint to ensure a positive experience.

The workshop is open to all PhD students and researchers at the institute – PhD holders, university professors, and researchers in different roles.

The workshop lectures will be presented by: Dr. Ehssan Moglad and Iratxe Puebla. The event is sponsored by the ASAPbio Fellows program 2022 (asapbio.org/fellows), and it will take place on Tuesday, 19 July, 2022, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at NCR main Hall.
